What we're looking for

The EMBARK Lab is seeking an undergraduate research assistant to specialize in phlebotomy and blood processing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with research staff to run study visits
• Complete blood draws on research participants along with subsequent blood processing procedures
• Use basic laboratory skills (e.g. pipetting and centrifuging)
• Liase with laboratories for sample processing and shipping
• Catalogue samples and assisting with interpretation of assay findings

Qualifications

• Can offer at least one academic year commitment and 10 hours per week
• Have completed a phlebotomy training program and/or have experience drawing blood in a clinical setting
