What we're looking for
The EMBARK Lab is seeking an undergraduate research assistant to specialize in study recruitment/logistics and running study visits.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing enrollment and retention of participants through studies
- Take charge of study outreach and recruitment, identifying recruitment sources, connecting and maintaining relationships with community partners, and organizing community-based events
- Act as a liaison with collaborators and track goals and progress for
each study
- Work closely with research staff to run study visits
Qualifications
- Can offer at least one academic year commitment and 10 hours per week
- Would like to pursue a career in psychology, counseling, or a similar field.
- Are familiar with participant recruitment within the community and in clinical settings
- Can attend study visits (visits take place at 4PM on Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri at 6001 Research Park Blvd)
- Can attend training to learn how to facilitate Body Advocacy Movement intervention (12-16 hours across the span of a weekend once a semester)
